Just spotted you also need the charger as the tool or battery does not come with it.

£27 for the tool, £38 for a battery and charger

    Well spotted.

Will the bauker/WORX batteries fit this?

I think they're different, but I believe they're actually the same tool and battery as "Galax Pro" tools on Amazon.
So some generic tool that's sold off to whoever wants to put their badge on it.

For what it's worth, I wound up with one of their impact drivers and gave it to my dad. It works, it puts screws into things and can rattle loose rusted fixings.

Usually with these type of tools there only good for the odd job not regular use. If you want one for a regular use then buy Bosch or dewalt. Buy cheap buy twice.

I have the (also cheap) WORX version of this and have used it pretty regularly for the for the last 3-years with no issues: Buy Bosch/Dewalt, pay twice (as much)

Incredible how even the battery charger needs to be bought separately

    Mine arrived today.
    - Tool and Battery in separate boxes and as separate delivery items/tracking
    - Instructions are pictures only
    - It comes with two blades
    - The tool feels solid and well put together
    - The speed seems low but that could just be me used to a big cabled circular saw
    - There is no charger (I await my second order for another battery and charger to arrive)
    - The battery does not match other batteries I have seen, so I don't hold out hope to find compatible ones

NOTE: The bolt that holds the blade in threads backwards so "Lefty-Tighty", and remeber to press the little button that locks the spindle

I think batteries are the ink-cartridges of the power tool world.

Any chance of posting a picture of the battery terminal here? Thanks

I've got the Vonhus cordless heatgun (rubbish)....will the battery fit this?

Snagged one for casual DIY. I have a big cabled circular saw but that thing is a pain to get out for small jobs and I also makes me nervous.

EDIT: Totally different ((The battery looks similar to the Aldi 18v ones, I'll check when it arrives.)) (edited)

    Perfect!
Just saved me a few quid.

I was going to get the mini circ saw and battery from LIDL this week, I already have Vonhaus tools and 2 E series batteries so this is an ideal deal!

    Thanks a bunch!

    EDIT:
Also got the detail sander for £18 (before discount).
    vonhaus.com/vh_…der

And used PayPal pay in 3 to ease the pain a little.
Been a big spending Month thanks to this site!

    EDIT:
I thought this deal would save me money.
After first putting the circular saw in my basked, I then added the detail sander, I also added the £10 torch for no apparent reason...
    Grrrrr! (edited)
