    I just purchased it and posted the deal. Hope it serves for occasional home use and to print little ones school work and photos. Thought I can use third party ink for this printer so not sure about high running costs (edited)

    I have in the past used Epson printers using refillable compatible inks and found they worked fine,bought from ink-girl on Ebay. (edited)

    Good price but for a third-rate printer, sadly. For those who don't sneer at comments from Which?, here's their conclusion (other pro reviewers are similarly unimpressed):

    The Epson WorkForce WF-2950DWF doesn’t particularly excel at anything. It’s good enough at printing and scanning so it would be worth considering for general use – if it wasn’t for its exorbitant ink costs.
    Pros
    • Good printing quality overall
    • Fast text printing
    • Supports AirPrint and Wi-Fi Direct
    Cons
    • High running costs
    • Very slow at printing photos and images
    • Copy quality isn’t the best

    This maybe a good price but then that is the aim of the likes of HP, Epson............most printer manufacturers; they give/sell the printer away for cheap and make a huge recurring mark up in the ink cartridges!

    Also having fell for the con and bought inkjet printers, I will never buy another one. Have changed to a laser printer and the ink depending on the model will be cheaper, especially for occasional printing, will never dry up! (edited)
