Great printers these eco tanks. Do yourselves a favour, spent a bit more and go for the higher up models with a control display. The setup will be a lot easier. I know because I have both. This one was a pain to set up.
This may be because I am stupid when it comes to networking.

So am I! Am looking at these at the moment. Which model did you go for? I am conscious of the ink pad issue, they seem to be unusable after the 5 year warranty due to this. I have seen videos showing you how to replace the ink pads and get round buying a registration key, etc. Ridiculous really that it should be an issue though.

Great if you have lots of documents to print, but no duplex is a killer for me.

I agree, Epson reserves duplex in this line to the top end model which costs almost £500!! Another trick in their arsenal of pushing Joe Public towards duplex cartridge models and £££ cartridge contracts. Who on earth prints only on one side, or does manual duplexing??!!

Be mindful before you purchase one of these as its liquid based ink they can only be repaired at a service centres.

I paid for the Cover plus warranty on one of these

I live in Birmingham the 2nd largest city in the UK and Epson have ZERO repair centres.

Nearest one is in Worcester it's a 50 mile round trip and they do not do same day repair so that's 100 miles to get a printer repaired in the second largest city in the UK,

    EPSON YOU ARE A JOKE!

Perhaps Epson are confident in the reliability. I have had my for 4 years without an issue yet.
I read reviews of other brands and they did not come out as well as Epson. I find Amazon very helpful if anything goes wrong.
