I've been slowly switching my power tools from Ryobi to these as they are much more substantial. Was browsing the b&q clearance for the extra 15% off weekend deal and saw this. I already have it otherwise I'd snap it up.

2 batteries alone would normally cost you £126 quid.

Specs are very good, and I've been very impressed with the performance.

    These are good when they work. I have a lot of experience with power tools. Long term the gearbox in the drill can't handle the power produced by the motor. Many are returned with faulty gearboxes. They may feel a bit more compact in the hand than ryobi equivalent but the ryobi will last longer.

    I found the opposite to be honest, my Ryobi became quite wobbly early doors before packing up completely. Their after sales team didn't want to know as they said there is no way of knowing how much I'd used it! This has lasted me longer already and stayed solid.

    But obviously people with have different experiences so not doubting yours

    I've had mine since last year no issues and I'm very pleased, it's very powerful and saved alot compared to buying premium brands. Batteries last for ever. Also I haven't used ryobi so can't compare. Maybe if I use Ryobi brand, I'll be singing and dancing ryobi's tune. (edited)
