Small price drop.

Expensive, but very popular hammer. I think the straight jaw type may be more popular, though.

Note, 24oz is quite a large heavy hammer, used for construction work/framing.

These are great but I prefer to use a hammerfore, much better & quicker.

I've been using this make of hammer and weight for 20 years. I've had my current one for a decade, still going strong, the handle is worn at the bottom from using it like a rubber mallet. £36 is a steal, cheers op

Have you ever tried a titanium hammer?

Thinking of getting this I was looking at the regular 20oz estwing with the red grip

100% tradesman hammer. I've still got a 16-oz and 24-oz from about 20 years ago. If you're after an occasional DIY tool, get something else. If you want a lifetime hammer then get this

These are, in my humble opinion, the benchmark for hammers.
So well made and balanced you can use them all day every day and they'll never let you down.
    Great price too.

Excellent hammer. Had mine for 30+ years and still going strong. Worth every penny

There's a reason that all the shuttering chippies I've worked with have sworn by Estwing.

That's where I got onto this one. Then I framed/general building work and now mostly 2nd fix 20 years on.

At first glance I thought $£"$% for a hammer but after reading the comments and googling, bargain. Cheers OP.

Last Christmas the first thing on my list was an estwing tack hammer. My wife said "But don't you have three estwings already?"
    I said "What's your point?"
Amazing tools, I now have 4 in my workshop.
