Looks like a decent deal for the basic Eufy wireless doorbell and chime kit. I'd be tempted myself if I didn't already have one!

Edit: Updated price to £74.98 due to £5 off voucher showing on page - thanks !

You're welcome! I have this exact doorbell, it works well and the battery life claims are accurate, although it depends on recording settings and how often it's triggered. Important to note that this doesn't have the option to hard-wire, and I think you'll also need to supply your own microSD card for recording.

Have had this for about a month, picture quality is good and great that it stores on sd card on the chime with no monthly fee. App can add guests so have partner able to view recordings and answer doorbell from her app too.

Only downside is motion detection doesn’t work 99% of the time on balanced surveillance mode, it works if I use customize mode however battery drains in about a week.

I just got the wired one £85, batterys dont last forever.

Says needs existing doorbell connection but i see there is the plug for the doorbell itself so I should be able to just plug the doorbell after drilling the doorbell.

I dont have an exisiting doorbell

The battery one is really chunky, which I wasn't expecting. I have a plug socket right next to my door and the non battery one is 2K resolution rather than "sort of" 1080P, so all in I would have preferred the mains one... the battery option is still a good deal though.

Does this give an alert to show someone is outside even if they don’t ring?

Also does the light come on to show they are being recorded. I’m more interested in putting off burgalars than a doorbell.

    Yes and yes

Mine only arrived today, set it up, was fine in daylight but just checked and in the dark it records you as you leave the house but it's not picking you up when you come back and walk right up to it. Noticed 2 IR lights come on in it as I approached but it didn't record anything

Had one for years and it has been so much better than Ring, I just wish'd the mount was better and it had a removable battery.

I guess we have casually forgotten the eufy privacy debacle .
Btw i am still using 2 eufy cams (edited)
    nibelheimtimes's avatar
Hard to forget about it, someone brings it up on literally any eufy product deal. Some folks just don’t care that much, especially if cameras are only being used externally and are only pointing at things you could see on Street View anyway.

I bought one of these in 2021, worked fine up until this year. The memory card messed up. I replaced it and it's back up and running
I've bought a usb extension cable and it's charging it while it's on the door

having the exact same issue! Worked for a year straight no issue, and now suddenly SD card won't format. Not the SD card either as that works fine in other devices. Currently waiting for Eufy to reply via Amazon support to see if there's anything than can do. Hopeful I can get a replacement, at the least a replacement chime as clearly a common fualt

How easy is it for someone to steal battery ones attached to door?
    gergob's avatar
I would say, moderately easy to break it out from the wall, but you'll have a video
  11. skeptic's avatar
Yep. Got this to replace the ring after their price hike. And tbf it's been good. But the mount as said is a bit of a let down, would have preferred more screws to the wall. Also added a hole to allow me to use the same location as the ring's but the screw head sticks out way too much for the doorbell to fit in the cradle... Even with a bit of countersinking the new hole.
    AgentBartonBones's avatar
can't you order a back-up 3D printed mount with more screw holes and a angle so it gets better view.

One of the worst products you can buy. Full of security flaws and a total lack of regard for personal privacy! Get a Google or Ring and avoid this rubbish!

After reading some of the comments on here I'm glad I went for the ring Pro. It's been absolutely fantastic in terms of the picture quality and motion sensor in both day and night. The app works really well to. I've still got a month's free subscription and then the fee kicks in, but I don't Mind paying for something that works. Plus I will get a Blue light discount.

This deal was posted a couple of days ago and I bought one with the £5 off too. It's still a good deal, and too early to say how good the product is. The app could be a lot better, it has a lot of 1* reviews on Google Play and they are accurate reviews too in my experience. Free access as opposed to a subscription, has it's own costs!

How does this compare against the Ring Door Pro
  20. pow26's avatar
I’m new to Eufy-previously had Blink cameras and doorbell.

I’ve been looking at this one and the 2k one for £89.99. Which is the better one? I’ve got the Homebase 2

They still use micro USB on this?

Newbie here looking for some advice, is this good value for the resolution, is there better resolution models/brands? Any recommendations over this?
