What's the max distance your phone will find this from?

In terms of using the local Bluetooth finding function for either pressing the button on the tag to make your phone make an audible noise or vice versa about 10-15m depending on environment (walls etc).

if using the Find My Network of Apple devices it’s global. It just relies on an Apple device being near your tag, again within Bluetooth range.

Just to confirm as people seem to be confused. These work as a global tracker using Apples “Find My Network” so if your dropped your keys with one of these attached anywhere in the world and some walks past with and iPhone, it will update its location in the “Find My” app map.

Could buy 2 rather than buying an airtag and no need for the airtag holder either

It really doesn’t though. Well it does, but only as far as one of those cheap key finder things from eBay. If you’re out of Bluetooth range on android you’re not finding it…

I have these and they are great on an Apple phone to track BUT don't track unless your phone is with them unless I am missing something. We also have Air Tags and these are great as they track all the time.
Point me in the right direction on Android if I am missing something here on how these track all the time on Android
I use Android the rest of the family are Apple.

    Thanks in advance

Yes they are only really any good if used/setup with iPhones.

Latest iOS allows sharing these between accounts, so whole family can track each tag.

Can I use them as triggers for automations through elexa. I am thinking the tag could start a routine based on geo location. Could just use my phone to be honest but wasn’t sure if they work with Alex that way. Thanks

Will these work with an ipad?

Edit: description suggests it will. All the comments above are talking about iphones so got me questioning it.

Picked one up to replace a Samsung tag as switched to a Pixel phone.
Paired with an Ipad on the Eufy and Apple Find My apps.
Tag appeared in Android Eufy app and when Tag double clicked rings both Android phone and Ipad.
Eufy app shows accurate location in both Android and iOS, not tested away from iPad yet.
