I'm really annoyed with Eufy. They keep releasing buggy firmware that often causes more issues than it fixes. The most recent example is that my camera deleted all footage from my floodlight camera from March - June leaving February and older as is. Had to spend a while working with them supplying logs etc before they realised what they'd done. If anyone else has an Eufy floodlight camera I'd urge you to check if you have any footage save during Feb-June as it will more than likely have been lost.

I haven't checked my recently but the same thing happend around February all recordings were gone and ypu couldn't access recording from 4g only on wifi at home, that was resolved a few weeks after maybe this is a new issue

Just checked and its not just the wired floodlights, its these eufycam 2c pro too, on both my front and back flood lights and these wireless cams i only have footage from 15th july, unbelievable, good job i dont need any footage (edited)

I think they are great. We've had ours 2 years. Easy to instal with good clear instructions.
Notification is quick, image is clear. You can adjust the trigger area to reduce unnecessary notifications. Battery lasts a long time in between charges
There is a security floor that might still be ongoing but overall these are very good for the money.

Is this the one where thieves can reset the cameras and delete the footage without even breaking into the house?

Its cheaper to buy two of the 2camera sets than one of the 4 camera sets

Problem with these is you will always be charging one of the cameras and will become a pain in longterm

Not really..they do last a long time.

Or is there a better alternate, ideally need at least 3 cameras?

    This has four cameras

Surely there's no wireless that does?

Homebase 3 kits allow you to install a HDD which is handy if you want to keep lots of video.

Had two of these fail after 12 months powered by solar avoid

I have these..seven in total. You do need solar panels or the solar powered variants or you will be charging every few months.. depends on how often they get triggered. I recently swapped to Samsung from an iPhone...I have tried lots of things but notifications work for a couple of hours then that is it... perhaps android is putting the eufy app to sleep. If anyone has suggestions please let me know...I am using a. Samsung s23...and the same on prob on a Samsung S8 tablet.... The only time I know there is a notification is if it beeps on my wife's iPhone.

I had the same notification issue with my pixel phone but get every notification on my Samsung s22 ultra

I have used these for about 3 years now and i only charge them every 6months or so. Most people who report having to charge more often do not have the sensors and area calibrated correctly meaning unnecessary triggers.

    That is not true mate!
I have done calibration a couple of times, I have contacted Eufy many times about missed or too much motions and they acknowledge the problem but they have done nothing so far. But for Eufy defence, there is no perfect cam. You either have a lot motions or you are going to miss some unless you can record 24/7 that normally battery powered cams can't do.
