How could you record what this picks up, except to just the SD card (no good if someone pulls off the camera)?
All the proprietary ones are incompatible with each other and circa £40 to £50 per year. I have cloud storage, so there must be cameras that can make use of it.
Blurams cams offer near-unlimited cloud-based motion-triggered footage for rolling 24 hrs via credible Amazon AWS cloud storage;
cams using apps such as Vicohome / Longplus / Anlife / Dzees offer rolling 7 days Amazon AWS cloud, although some such as Longplus have minimum sleep of xx seconds between cloud recordings. All have options to augment storage durations and features such as (weird) auto-detection of packages-left-on/removed-from-doorstep for additional fee.
Think Aiwit-based cams offer 3 days freebie cloud.
Possibly best example of the free footage storage model using Vicohome app is the often £33 fulfilled Amazon outdoor battery / totally wirefree cam complete with solar recharge panel.
