I bought one of these and its rubbish. So bad that we arent even going to use it when we travel next month. Thin material and rubbish zips. Waste of cash regardless of cost. I wouldnd use it if it were free.

Return it for a refund, under the distance selling act.

The decathlon one is better quality and value at £5.99. Correct size for Ryanair and can also fold flat

I flew easyjet last year and had a 30L rucksack that fitted perfectly under the seat. Who are these actually marketed at?
    thebruce's avatar
People that don’t have an existing 30L rucksack

Has anyone every been clocked for an oversized under the seat bag? I have a slightly oversized on that I dont fully fill so I can use it as a day sack on my trips.

They tend to zone in more on these hold all type bags, and wheeled suitcases. Backpacks seem to avoid being checked in my experience. For the last year I've been using a Ryanair spec backpack that has been stuffed to the point of being well oversized and have never been asked to size check it. However, I've seen multiple people with the above mentioned bags being stopped even when they easily fit into the sizer.

Even if you did get stopped, if your bag isn't full then it'd likely squash into the sizer anyway.

It absolutely can be used with Ryanair, just fill it to the size they allow

I'm after one of these but the negative reviews put me off. Quality not there some complain. What's a real advantage over backpack me thinks?

Build quality is similar to 5 Cities stuff. Poor, but even worserer

These are paper thin, sent back for a refund. The £5.99 ones on home bargains are far better quality.
