    The don't taste the same, most of these continental beers have been ruined when under license and brewed in the UK.

    It might seem crazy but its the same with clothing, I have 2 pairs of identical trainers one pair made in Vietnam and the other in China. The Chinese made pair and inferior in everyway, people will often report similar with electronic devices depending on where they are made, so where things are made / brewed makes a difference.

    Just finished my third pint of Cruzcampo, lovely drop. Albeit much nicer when drank in the Spanish sunshine

    Some decent deals in Asda right now.

    30 cans of Brooklyn Pilsner 440ml for £23.
    36 cans of Lost Lager 330ml for £23.
    12 cans of Korev 330ml, Pilsner Urquel 330ml or Budvar 330ml for £10.

    The value in the Cruzcampo deal is the free glass really. Heineken did a great job on the design there. The beer isn't anything special, and IMO the above all represent better value. (edited)

    Wouldn't even use it as a cooking lager. Cruzcampo is already a dreadful beer in Spain so the one here must be an experience.

    Not sure it's overrated, most people say it's crap

    Being UK brewed I can't imagine it being great.

    Glass looks nice however, is it a pint glass or half pint or even 330ml one?
