The Fuji Traverse 1.7 Urban Bike brings you a fun and controlled ride wherever you ride it. Nimble and capable over all terrains, it has a lightweight aluminium frame, a Shimano Tourney drivetrain and disc brakes.

In addition to the reliable Shimano gears and strong wheels, this capable hybrid bike comes with Suntour NEX suspension forks. With 63mm of travel, they soak up vibrations and sudden impacts that would normally make your ride uncomfortable or make you lose control. This results in a smooth and enjoyable ride over mixed terrain, mile after mile.

A2-SL Butted Aluminium
Fuji's mid-level aluminium and most widely used frame material which has a double-butted profile in the frame tubes that reduces material in low-stress areas and creates a lightweight frame that is extremely durable.

Endurance Geometry
Fuji models with endurance geometry feature a taller headtube and longer chainstays that put the rider in a more upright riding position and increases bicycle stability. Models with endurance geometry still provide a fast and spirited ride but without the discomfort of an aggressive race posture.

Internal Cable Routing
Cables are routed inside the frames tubes for improved aerodynamics, longer cable life and a clean aesthetic.

Rack Mounts
Strategically placed braze-ons are ready to accept most aftermarket racks, further increasing the utility of your bike.

Disc Brakes For All Models
Disc brakes take less effort at the lever for better modulation and improved braking performance, particularly for smaller hands.

Built, Tuned and Ready to Ride
Rest assured that each bike is fully built and tuned by Wiggle's team of qualified bike mechanics to ensure your bike arrives in perfect condition. We supply all bikes with a set of plastic pedals, a pedal wrench and a multi-tool kit. Find out which size fits you by clicking the size chart tab.

Can anyone recommend suitable mud guards that will fit this bike if I fit a Topeak Super Tourist DX Disc Brake Bike Rack to the back? Asked Wiggle for suggestions and they told me to use LifeLine Wide Mudguard Set for the rear only and Crud Catcher Front Mudguard for the front as they don't offer sets that work with front suspension, which is a bit surprising but there you go. Surely there must be a set out there where you can use both the front and back guard? Any help appreciated.

I went cheap and got these:

    amazon.co.uk/dp/…6XI

the front one fits ok but needs an m6 rather than m5 bolt (the thread in the back of the fork is M6)

The bracket supplied for the rear mudguard didn’t work as the thread runs towards the centre of the rear wheel (90 degrees out from I would consider ‘normal’). I was fitting a rear rack anyway so have just used ties to secure it and it’s good enough for me.

The frame around the rack mounting points interfered with the rack I have, so I had to use spacers.

First commute on it today and I’m very happy! (edited)

Anyone know what Wiggle are like when it comes to sorting out a damaged order? Finally had chance to fully unpack my bike today to put it together and discovered that the right pedal arm had pushed through the box during transit and has scraped down to bare metal. Not too happy, cause even if they send a replacement I don't have the correct tools for replacing it.

They are great, sent me a new derailleur but I had to complete their laborious returns form. If you call them they will probably tell you to follow the process but you should get what you want, make sure you mention the tools you need

Have been casually looking for something reasonable to ride along with my 9yo when she's on her bike as my road bike isn't really suitable for the paths etc. This will do nicely thanks OP

Nice. Shame it's let down by the Shimano tourney group set.

    Is tourney that bad?

Cant decide whether to go for 19in or 21in frame? Im 6ft and they suggest 21, but my current bike is 18in and 21 seams like a big jump.

Mine got delivered today - I wasn’t sure about the frame size either as there are a few size guides with conflicting guidance for user height.

I’m about 6’1” and it’s a good size. The sloping top tube means that there’s enough scope to get the saddle low enough for you.

I’m really happy with it - really well packed, and well set up. Bit of a bargain really.49552911-J0wQN.jpg

Brand new bikes like this are a bargain, by the time you buy a used bike for 100-150, then spend money on servicing, new tubes etc. You might as well just get a brand-new bike like this, and you know it won't have any problems from when the last owner never bothered to oil the chain etc. Great how they can deliver this for 239

Just received mine. Delighted for the money.

    What size did you buy?

Got mine delivered yesterday but only had a chance to open the box and take a look inside today. First impression is that it appears to be a nice bike. But I'm curious, did everyone else who bought it get 2 pairs of peddles included? And if so, what are the differences, if any, between them, other than minor cosmetics? Thanks
    Jamie_Wiltshire's avatar
Yup - 2 pairs. One pair felt like the bearings were a lot smoother so I used those.

I had just one in the box..

First time I rode it today, it was a fantastic ride, can't wait to go back on it again. It had some good momentum when you switch the gears to go faster. Downside is, I will feel anxious leaving it locked up somewhere, it's a good looking bike.
    Bargain at £240.

what's the difference between this fuji traverse 1.7 VS the fuji traverse 1.7 ST? which one is better? thanks!
    Codify's avatar
The ST is the ladies bike with a lowered crossbar. No other difference
