strangely enough the quality of the blades have got reaaly bad,, shaves are below average and blades dont last more than 3 shaves

Just make sure to buy products that are sold directly by Amazon and not 3rd party sellers, that's my 2c to avoid fakes. Having said that, this particular razor model and the trend, back in the day, of constantly increasing blade count without any benefit, was the final incentive I needed to move to an electric shaver. Much easier and safer experience and practically no skin irritation ever since. Huge win in my book

If you really want to save money stick with Hydro 5 - cheaper blades, great shave and last 4-5 times longer per blade. These are blunt in no time. (edited)
