Warning to South/west Yorkshire (Leeds/Sheffield areas) Three is horrible! I've cancelled my contract after proving them that I've got no 5G connection at all and 4G 1 bar... Brand new google pixel 7 pro.... moved to Vodafone got no less than 3 bars on mobile data.

    AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

So much better these deals of a upfront payment as it keeps the yearly increase low. Factor that in and this deal is even better

Three. Ice cold for me. Would have to buy another SIM. They’re useless.

Nice deal but why are all of the mobile providers here in the UK so crap?

Coverage for such a small island (relatively) is abysmal. Can't get one provider that is both good at home and work.

I'm sitting here now and Vodafone has zero bars and speedtest doesn't even run.

EE, O2, 3 and Voda are all dismal, I live in Solihull hardly a backwater (edited)

Surely at least one of them works well? Especially seeing as you're in Solihull. Are you sure it's not your phone?

My friend is on three and when he does speed tests, his 5g speeds are around 1.1gbs 80% of the time

Honestly if you live and work where Three has a good signal, you are super lucky. They got the best deals

Check your 3 network coverage this is a great if you've got decent coverage. It would be useless for me. No signal at all. A friend who lives about half a mile away is thinking of ditching his broadband and using a cheap 3 SIM as a mifi on his phone. Those maps you see where you put your postcode in lie and say there is a good signal in my high rise block which has its own  postcode. I see loads of networks from other people in settings on my devices but never for the 3 network. This method probably won't work as well if at all if you don't live in a high rise so best to ask the neighbours.
