Yea, anything with a battery in it seems to be be no go for NI.

I just send them to my mate in London and he posts them on to me via Royal Mail

If you ever use one of these to help someone else be sure to first check they don't have something plugged in the usb or cigarette adaptor port that has short circuited!

I looked at a roundup of many starter devices, they greatly over state the amp capacity. Some were only doing 450 amp.

I have the 3000 bear thing I bought I own a van and it's always in use, my battery bit kackard and this just does, the job, so easy to use and small too

I have had this brand approx three years .
keeps enough charge (usually 4 out of 5 LEDs) It has never let me down in any vehicle. Well worth the price for peace of mind when on any travel . (edited)

What’s the difference between GE2000 and GP2000. I think GP is £5 more

I'd like to know the same - currently the GE2000 has a 40% off voucher that can be applied making it £41.97.

EDIT: I went on the UK official website, under the jump starter menu there's three categories - Titan (GP), Turbo (GT) and Elite (GE). (edited)

I ordered one. Tried it on my volvo but wouldn't start. It instantly drained it and the starter motor didn't even turn over.

Think I'll give it a miss. Also quite a lot of bad reviews on them not working when needed.
