Tried this in prime day and it went straight back. Did not work at all well.

Same here, it's fine for the price I guess but it's far too laggy and doesn't work well at all, it's like a toy version of the Phillips kit

I ordered one previously. Camera sticking out from the top of the tv looked stupid and it was super laggy

Immediately I figured that camera would be super distracting. What an awful design.

Being replaced by the dual camera version apparently.

Spot on, just a quick Google and found this link and video. Looks like it might be worth the extra. Think I'll give it a skip for the moment and maybe have a look next year when hopefully the T2 has come down in price.

See other reviews about Govee on other threads, LEDs fail quickly

I’ve had mine for 3 years and had zero problems. If the RBic lights do fail they will send you out a free set if you contact them through the app.

Just a heads up that T2 has 20% off code on amazon today. It has been 10% and 15% recently. Brings price down to £120.

I posted a 30% off deal last week for the T2 but the mods removed my post because it wasn't an official Amazon code. But was one provided by Govee lol. It brought the price down from £145 to just over £100. I bought one at that price as an Xmas present to myself haha (edited)

I've got both a Phillips Ambilight TV and one of these in the TV in our cabin and I'm afraid whilst these are ok for the money they are nowhere near as good as an actual Ambilight. If you don't want to buy a new TV then they do a decent attempt but it's certainly not the same.

Can't imagine wanting that cameras hanging off the top of my TV.... Lights look cool though. Cold from me. Just like my soul.

Put it underneath the TV as I and many others have done. It's not noticeable

Thanks! It was 80£ before and I always thought it was expensive. I actually run a Philip hue at home, but it is too expensive the TV one

Says for 55" TV's upwards, wanted to get it as a pressy for someone but their TV is 42", any good reason this can't go on smaller TV's?
