Update: The code no longer works, but still a great price.
Enhanced by Ambilight, the Philips 75PUS8008 has a larger screen that truly immerses you in the action.
A big screen with a difference Whether you’re watching movies, boxsets, sports or gaming, a big screen is always best. The Philips 75PUS8008 not only ticks the ‘big screen’ box, it also optimises this with its unique Ambilight technology, extending colour beyond the screen. With HDR10+ and gaming features, the picture is further optimised, making this the ideal choice for getting the most from all your onscreen entertainment.
Unique 3-sided Ambilight for expansive viewing Unique to Philips, Ambilight technology expands the picture’s presence, giving a more immersive and engaging experience. With intelligent LEDs around three sides of the screen, colour from the picture is cast into the room – in real time. Colour, vibrancy and excitement move beyond the screen and into your room, bringing you a viewing experience beyond the ordinary on this Philips 75 inch TV.
4K Ultra HD, delivered with precision With Philips’ Pixel Precise Ultra HD Engine on board, the 75PUS8008 optimises 4K material. Picture Precise Ultra HD delivers smoother motion and lifelike colour. Combined with the incredible detail from 4K resolution, you get superb realism that makes the picture truly ‘pop’.
Enhanced detail, with HDR10+ For picture enhancement, the Philips 75PUS8008 supports HDR10+. This premium HDR format delivers scene-by-scene mastering for the truest, most accurate HDR picture technology. Each scene is optimised, meaning the maximum amount of detail is shown – even in the brightest or darkest moments. The result is image quality that’s closer than ever to how the director intended. For wide-ranging HDR compatibility, this Philips TV also supports HDR10 and HLG.
Ideal for gaming A selection of features make this Philips ideal for the keen gamer. Game Mode gives you enhanced responses and clarity. With support for VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), you get a great gaming experience with exceptionally low input lag.
Smart TV from Philips Powered by Philips’ New OS, accessing Smart TV on this TV is a cinch. The intuitive system lets you continue watching a series, straight from the home screen, browse content by categories and see suggestions from the top streaming services – all in one place. All your favourite Smart TV apps are available, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube. The Philips store lets you access a whole host more.
Works with your voice assistant Whether you use Google or Alexa, the 75PUS8008 is happy to link up. Simply pair with a Google or Alexa smart speaker and enjoy voice control for popular functions such as volume control and content search.
Connect your sources Three HDMI sockets make it easy to connect a Blu-ray player, games console and TV set-top box. It also includes twin USB sockets for media devices.
Sleek style Despite its screen size, this Philips TV has one of the narrowest bezels in its class, with the matte black finish giving a discreet appearance. Inset feet make it easy to place on a piece of furniture, or simply wall mount with an optional bracket, using the 300 x 300 VESA fittings.

Shame it's not 120hz or mini led

Only thing that stopped me buying, how important is 120hz outside of gaming?

Just an observation but that stand is very low. In one sense it makes for a very neat & tidy setup, but on the other hand there's no room to put a soundbar Infront of it, without it encroaching onto screen space.

Just ordered the 65 inch. Got that for under 600 using AO on eBay.
Hoping my sound bar fits just in front of the stand .

I have last year's model in 70" and paid about £720 so this is a scorching deal. Heat heat heat for you!

I can't find any reviews on this, any owners out there to give an honest opinion?
Any light bleed on the screen, are the blacks black or light grey? OS any good? HDR worthwhile?
All issues with my current Sony 55 LED.

Only way you'll get black blacks is with oled..... which you will never get for this price.
