I have this, not actually used it though, bit unsure as to how to introduce a brand new character into the game when the kids are most of the way through. presume the idea is to start again?

Any tabletop rpgs people would recommend for young kids to introduce them?

Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Begins might be a good starting point

I have hero quest but not actually played it yet... Is this worth picking up for new play or better to give the base box time first?

There's so much with the base game that this is just a nice extra I think.

The rouge is a nice addition to the band of heroes - especially being able to pass through the enemy. That said I wrongly expected there to be some specific rouge quests rather than just 2 miniatures and additional equipment cards. (edited)
