Just looking at the site. There are several 14000BTU units there, all the same brand. Can't make sense of what I'm losing or gaining by going for one of the others!

Do these have to be vented out the window with the kit?
As we have a open vent '125mm' in corner of living room, which we open in winter for ventilation when we have our open fire lit, and closed off in summer, just wonder if the air conditioner pipe kit could be put thro the open hole to vent out?. Thank you for any advice.
The vent hole is about a foot off the floor.
