This is less than 800 watts , so about 27p an hour to run , you don't leave it on all the time so not exactly expensive

The sliding window kit is great, if you have a sliding window - but we’ve got those windows that are hinged at the top and you push out from bottom. The solution is a horrible one, and frustrating to install

Had same trouble with the one I bought. Did keep wondering about a hole in the wall. After a couple of years never used so gave it away.

You might as well leave a window open for all the use these are, 7000btu will just about cool a small toilet…

Nonsense, I have a small office and 7000BTU is plenty.

My personal experience with these cheap units is they are expensive to run, noisy & not very good at doing what they're supposed to - ie aircon, dehumidifier.

Got mine today, delivery is fast. First impressions , very good cooling much better than I expected but very loud . I sleep with the fan but wouldn't want to sleep with this.

Good price considering a dehumidifier alone tend to be £120. Anybody know if that function of it is any good? Everybody obviously focus’ on the air con side, but I’d be using in winter too to try reduce a bit moisture in a room.

I have said it before but will repeat it in case it saves someone buying this rubbish.

Look at the other pictures in the title & the one with the vent pipe hanging out of the window, yes the window needs to be open as the vented air is warm & if you set the unit to max the vented air will be very warm.

So imagine a basic vented tumble dryer that has a venting hose but in this case cold air comes out of the front but you still have the warm air coming out of the tube, no sweat set it right next to the window and pop the tube out of the “open” window.

Buy a good quality low noise fan or wait until you can afford a proper split system.
