    I do not disagree with you and I might be worng but if people never buy cartridges from HP how they going to make money? I think they don't make much profit from only selling printers,

    The printer industry as a whole decided not to make money off selling printers decades ago and monopolize consumables. You'd think that'd be illegal.

    Imagine buying a car and you can only use Ford petrol to run it and if you tried putting other petrol in it, it stops working. Crazy.

    I once bought a printer for $30, the cartridge only lasted around 300 pages, then I saw the price of the cartridge was the same as the printer. I went to see in Youtube why it didn't last and it's a huge scam, there is barely any ink in the cartridge. I bought a Brother laser printer instead and couldn't be happier. As they mentioned here, don't buy HP printers!

    I have this. Its a good wireless printer. The toner situation is crap. Cheapest one is £40. It has to be geniune, otherwise no luck. It asks you to download hp program for it to work, but once you setnit up, you can delete it. While having the program it constantluly asks you to sign up for hp instant ink, which is crazy, BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO !!!
    Bought it of ebay, new for £20.

    Do not buy this!!! do not buy this ever, I had one, put details in the subscription thing to be able to use it, they sent about 20 toner cartridges so far and after I returned the printer due to it being a pain on the arse they started sending invoices for thousands of pounds for the toner that I returned to them at that time... Still getting harassed with spam emails from HP about payment for the toner that I didn't order. Tried to delete account, they said they deleted it... Still get daily emails from them demanding money. Reported them to the ICO as a result of this. Do not buy a HP printer ever. Biggest pain you could possibly imagine. It barely worked because my internet is very slow so it would take several minutes to print even over USB. DO NOT BUY A HP INSTANT INK PRINTER THEY WILL MAKE YOU WANT TO MURDER EVERY EMPLOYEE OF HP. seriously it is still causing me issues, over a year since I had it. They continually try to bill me and still send toner that I didn't order. I have continually tried to get them to delete my account but they constantly lie. I could go on for longer but I don't want to rant too much. (edited)

    This printer will work with cheap toners. I know as I have one.

    It's the M110we model printer that only works with genuine toners.

    The non E printer is fine.
