sorted byThe addressable LED strip doesn't cost that much, even for one with a lot of LEDs. Quite likely an off the shelf controller would do you okay, but an Arduino would give you loads of options.
Very very tempting.
I'm in the Hue eco system (also have some nano leafs) but the thing that has stopped me getting it before was the crazy high price. I looked at Govee products and thought it might be the answer, but the app was terrible and you couldn't set the brightness of the scenes (crazy!) even at 1% it was far too bright, so i ended up returning it and don't want to risk there products again, so I decided it is Hue or nothing.
I can kinda stomach the Hue tax at this price.
I’m in the same boat they are expensive, so aren’t for everyone. I think once you get into them you get hooked. My collection seems to be ever expanding!
