Infinix Hot 20 5G - Full phone specifications - GSMArena.com

How fast can 5G be? The download speed in the 5G network is up to 2.77Gbps, 700% faster than in 4G. Therefore, the degraded latency and stutter of the 5G network allow gamers to play immersively. The Dimensity 810 comes in 2x 2.4GHz Cortex-A76 and 6x 2GHz Cortex-A55, with a dominant frequency 20% faster than its predecessor, offering you an excellent experience in terms of faster application response, higher game FPS (frame rate) and a smoother network connection.

More entertainment
Entertainment on a 5G-enabled smartphone must be packed with exceptional features and performance. Immerse yourself in entertainment on the FHD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Have fun longer, because up to 3 days without recharging thanks to the large 5000 mAh battery and the Energy Marathon function. You will take exceptional photos with the main 50 Mpx camera, and the Dimensity 810 processor and 4 GB of RAM will ensure efficiency at work.

Performance
If you want to enjoy fast transfers away from Wi-Fi, enable 5G on your Hot 20 5G smartphone and instantly download files and stream videos and music. Efficiency in communication and work of applications and games will be ensured by the Dimensity 810 processor clocked at up to 2.4 GHz. The 4 GB RAM can be virtually expanded by another 3 GB using the ROM.

The Phase Change system will take care of the right temperature, which will get rid of excessive heat even faster.

Run longer
With a 5000 mAh battery and Energy Marathon technology, you'll get up to 3 days of use on a single charge. Replenish your energy quickly with 18W wired fast charging.

Smooth picture
If you have not had contact with 120 Hz screens so far, using the INFINIX Hot 20 5G will make you rediscover smartphones. Movies, series, games or browsing the Internet in FHD+ resolution and high fluidity of 120 Hz will be a pleasant and eye-friendly experience. Ambient light detection technology using AI algorithms improves screen contrast and improves image brightness.

With the main 50 Mpx camera, you can capture colourful, bright and sharp photos in any light. Automatically setting the focus on the eyes will make the photographed person always the center of attention. Super Night Mode uses an AI algorithm and a bright f/1.6 aperture to bring more light into every photo you take. As the sun goes down, the story continues.

Infinix made it to UK. They are an OEM one level down from the likes of Realme and Redmi - offering slightly lesser build quality, but cheaper price for the same spec. Very popular in poorer countries. (edited)

Looks good for the money! Worth adding it's a 6.6" screen to description? It's strangely obscure from their own description.

Looks like efones Mara replacement brand. These be Global editions just being sold in the UK with a UK plug to test the water with them.

build and component quality will be the same level as brands like Umidigi/Ulefone/Doogee/Blackview

I was pleasantly surprised by the Mara Z1 I bought last year, though that was only £50 from Amazon so expectations weren't high to begin with.

This is somewhat reminiscent of the Redmi Note 9T 5G that came out in 2021, featuring similar SoC, screen and charging tech. however that was often around the £150 price with their perma-sales and occasionally down to £129. I loved mine and still have one of them kicking around somewhere, but I'm not sure I'd pay a similar amount for similar specs two years down the road, especially given Infinix is an unknown quantity for support and updates - at least in comparison with Xiaomi.

I purchased honor 8x 5g 3 months ago for £200, performance was really disappointed.

Even tho the specs look good, I don't know much about the chipset /processors- so would advise to check out few reviews before buying

Any idea what the cheapest new phone with OIS might be?
  19. Kankan101's avatar
    Kankan101
having OIS wont mean it will be good camera wise, even some good phone have terrible OIS and the EIS is better on them. If you must have it then your looking around 250+ with OIS anything cheaper I would give it a miss. (edited)
