    I have this phon and paid this price for it it's good but not as good as I thought it was going to be. No ads or bloatware so has some good points

    bought this for my father in law as he was travelling and needed one urgently. got it for 185 from warehouse for white version which wasnt available at the time new. got it next day delivery. supposed to be very good quality but to be honest it was excellent quality they said there were some scratches on the side but i couldn't see any at all.

    the phone itself is really good! i havent tested the camera or anything but for the intended user he didnt care about that as long as whats app works and they can take semi reasonable photos which it does do! it also has the option to make text bold which is great for people that find it hard to see. the redmi doesnt have that option last i checked.

    Just having a look at their updates, and it seems

    • In most cases, HONOR commits to two upgrades and two years of security patches. The HONOR Magic 5 Pro, however, gets special treatment with three upgrade commitments and five years of patches.

    I was on the point of buying this until I found out fingerprint sensor on the side by the power key. My current phone, galaxy a13 also has this and it is completely unusable. Shame, as I had an Honor 10 lite until a year ago and loved it. Will keep looking.
