Yes should be fine, just need to see one of the many articles about cloning a hard drive to an SSD drive, there are free cloning programs you can use.

Better still is to do a fresh install for optimum goodness and you start off with a clean install and no crud. Of course you then need to re-install your programs and copy over files/docs/ etc

However installing Win10 from scratch is a piece of cake and can take less than an hour (plus install of your own programs)

You can download the install ISO file from MS, choose to load it to a USB stick, install new SSD, boot with USB stick, follow instructions to install new Win10 and off you go.. really quite easy these days.

If upgrading a mechanical hard drive that already has Win10 should not require you to note the product licence key, MS already knows the motherboard details from that installation so if installing onto a fresh SSD from scratch, Windows already knows it's a licensed PC.

If installing an SSD drive and your existing mechanical hard drive has Win7 or 8 and you're doing a fresh install on the new SSD then do note down the product key from your Windows 7/8 machine as Win10 installation will need that (it will then upgrade the key to create a new legitimate Win10 licence)

If cloning, there should be no need to enter any product licence key.

However, I'd suggest making a note of your product license key regardless.. just in case.

Magicaljellybean reader can extract the details of your current Windows product key, a Win7 pc should have a sticker with it, Win8 is usually hard coded into the BIOS.

Missed last time. Managed to buy one. Thanks.
Ordered ,don't need it but I got one lol
utter bargain for a reasonable minimum size SSD. At this price tempted to buy just in case I need it for a future build but can't really justify it as I don't have an immediate need for it. Still brilliant deal...
Many thanks OP. Got one!
Thanks got one, need one as a boot drive.
Cheers OP, ordered 2. Probably should have even gone for another.
Crikey, thats the same price as a 128gb microsd card.

this is a shockingly low price. Its such a bargain,

My footprint for on my SSD is 119gb though so it is just too small for how I use my SSD.
Thank you. Great price.
Didn't need one but for that price, you cant not....
been waiting for these to come back into stock, great find OP

It's his deal, surely he's allowed
Can't argue with that price. Don't need one but will find a use for one.
Here's more Product Specifications Specs. It is 3D TLC.

Cheers op, ordered. Let's see how it outperforms this existing HDD.
Seems rude not to buy at this price! Heat added
Anyone else 's order just not going through?
If VAT registered, I think you cannot reclaim the VAT back.
This is £25 and not £20.83 + VAT.
But, still a great price.

Says it's 3d tlc on the specs. I assume you mean it's tlc rather than mlc.
Thanks, ordered a couple for this price.
Thanks for posting. Ordered blindly and not even checked if it will fit a/my laptop
Typical! A week after I decide they're never going to get below £35 and buy one this deal crops up!
Got one thanks
Brill. Also ordered it a bit blind - will need to decide which machine to put it in now. Will I need a 3.5" caddy to put it in my desktop? (Mac Pro)
Nice.

I stand corrected and have edited my post, It will be an opportunity for me to see how it compares performance-wise alongside my other SSDs
Perfect needed an upgrade for my NVR boot disk
Will this work in a dell 7310 chrome book
I have two of these in two different machines and they perform brilliantly, an absolute bargain for the price and better than some more expensive makes, they always bench well on userbenchmark 83% - 94%
Thanks OP, bought and heat added.
Bang Tidy!
Great to see them back in stock. Missed out yesterday so happy to get a pair of them today.
I bought 5 when they were this price many moons ago - all in constant use in different laptops/PCs. All have been rock solid to date. HOT!
Very tempted to get a 'spare' or two - damn you HUKD.
