    The JW labels seem to yo-yo a bit in price depending on offers, so its hard to know what 'normal' prices are. RRPs are definitely somewhat 'inflated'. While JW Red is a pretty average blend (best bought duty free probably), JW Black is a very rewarding blend and at £20 its better than many considerably more expensive single malts - though admittedly aiming at a different style. People are sniffy 'cos its not malt whisky' but this and Chivas Regal 13yo when its at similar money or a bit more are very solid choices. Actually I find them amazing examples of the blenders' art as they stay remarkably consistent over time.

    Agree, Find this to be very drinkable for the price. Got a bottle of Chivas 12 when this price and don't rate it at all.
    Black bush and JW black label are my go-to for non-special occasions.
