For anyone with max S&S they also have the same paint in 750ml cans, 3 cans works out at £15.02 for 2.25l in total. (4 cans extra 5% off making it £18.85 for 3l, or 2 cans for £10.02 making it cheaper than the 1.25l)
Yes it's a little more money for a little less paint but it may suit those wanting to share the purchase or for those intending to use it at different times.
Always good to evaluate available options so HTH

Spend the extra and get dulux. Trust me it’s well worth it. 3 coats of Johnstones and it was still patchy. Roller was lifting the paint from the wall. Dulux every time for me now.

Quite the opposite here. Johnstone's has been the best stuff I've used.

    I got a 3 litre tin from B&M for £13 , if you have a shop nearby

    When you bought it?

From my own very recent experience, I'd personally pay the extra and get the equivalent Johnstone's Trade version... you won't need as many coats; obviously you'd need to have a Johnstone's trade store nearby!

That said, I'd agree with other peoples comments, I'd use Johnstone's over Dulux every time! (edited)

Dulux paint is now shocking, having painted 2 coats of quick dry gloss it's still not as good as it used to be. Will try Johnstone's from now or another brand if anyone recommends one

Yea I’m in agreement with others. I highly rate Johnstone paints. I’m quite disappointed with Dulux offerings over the past few years. They seem to be living off there name that used to mean something. Johnstone is my go to brand now for quality and value (edited)

I've used their water based gloss, I thought it was very good.52433755-ptnbt.jpg

Has anyone had any experience with Leyland paint. Was thinking either that or Johnstone's but just wanted a second opinion on how well it covers

    Leyland trade is decent

Johnstone's is better than Dulux (except maybe the top of the range ridiculously expensive Dulux paint)
