An average at best 10 year old single malt, that I wouldn't normally buy - but with 2 nice whisky glasses included, its not a bad price.

About this item
  • A trademark 10 year old malt whisky for the modern drinker; smooth smoky sherry sweetness
  • Colour - Copper gold
  • Nose Aromas of fruit, cracked pepper and dark chocolate
  • Taste nectarines, ginger and freshly ground coffee
  • Cask finish jura 10 year old is matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels with an aged oloroso sherry cask finish

Might seem like a bargain, but this is truly a horrible single malt in mine, and many other's, opinions.
The only nice Jura I have tried so far is the long gone Superstition.

You can get some decent independent bottlings of Jura. You almost wouldn't believe it was made at the same distillery if you taste a good IB.

Not a fan of this one. I got this exact deal a while back and the glasses get more use than the whisky. The shape of the glass is perfect for holding whilst supping a proper dram
The whisky, meh. It has a harshness that other aged malts don't have with a hint of smokiness.

Absolutely agree with this 100%. I use the glasses often though

This is a good whiskey at the price. Yes, you can get much better, but at double the price and more. As said, good gift, and not a bad whiskey. (edited)

Rubbish. You can get much better at the same price or less.

And that's without delving deeper into the amazon inventory or any other retailers.

Everything coming out of Whyte & Mackay I tend to avoid but Jura is particularly cheap harsh and nasty.

Not worth even 10 free glasses (edited)

Same whisky for £25 (£23.75 S&S). Paying 99p extra for 2 glasses doesn't seem bad.

Good price with the glasses, but prepare for a harsh whisky. Look for Bunnahabain around this price 🥃

It goes to show that we all have different tastes. Jura is my go to Whisky and £25 is the right price for it, the snobs can go bury their heads back where they pulled them from.

I suppose JD drinkers are all peasants and god forbid a lager drinker enjoys their cheap beer.

    Voted hot.

Ok for beginners I guess, but not exactly quality whisky. Glasses are a nice addition tho.

Contrary to popular opinion I quite enjoy Jura, but then I'm no expert.
This is a good deal - the price of this gift pack drops to around this level periodically, I've ended up with quite a collection of the glasses as a result. They're nice quality and look good.
