The Cortina 9ft 2" x 7ft Shed is modern in every way. With a slanted roof above a band of windows, it boasts a sleek, contemporary design that stores your belongings in eye-catching style. Its double-layered walls are made from Evotech, an innovative composite material that gives you the aesthetic look and feel of wood but with the benefits of resin. This extremely durable shed is completely weather-resistant and maintenance-free – it won’t rust, rot or peel. Add in features like steel reinforcements for extra strength, lockable double doors for security and convenience (lock not included), 2-sided ventilation, a roof that can support a snow load of up to 150kg(330 lbs), and a heavy-duty floor tough enough to support a riding mower, and you have a shed that works hard and looks great doing it.

Premium Installation Service

Choose our Premium Installation Service at checkout with your chosen shed and enjoy the comfort of knowing that installation is taken care of by skilled and trained installers.

The installation office will contact you to guide you smoothly through the process and ensure you are happy with your purchase.

Prior to booking your install date (within 10 working days of delivery) the installers will telephone you to check the following:

1. That you have a suitable base for your shed. It needs to be firm, flat & level. We recommend concrete, slabs or a timber frame. Please note that your shed cannot be placed directly onto a base of grass, earth, sand etc as natural movement will effect the stability of the building.

2. That there is enough space to build your chosen shed and that access to the build area is clear of obstruction. A minimum of 24” (61cm) space is needed around the shed for the installers to work in.

3. That the contents have been checked in full and free from damage.

4. Please note that the installation company is unable to carry the shed through your home so if there is not adequate access, provision for this must be made. Please note that the installation service does not include the removal of packaging, but will leave it tidily for the member to dispose of.

Does it fit together well, or is it a bit wibbly wobbly?

How can £1000 for a plastic shed be justified?

I have one and they're superior to a wooden one in every way- Personally I love it!

Not voted on the deal, but are plastic sheds really something the world needs?

They are maintenance free (other than the occasion spray with a pressure washer to keep it looking clean I suppose).
    Wont rot or rust.

Can be easily assembled by most able-bodied people who can follow instructions with no need to pay professionals. (Although I can still understand why some people would want to)

As for shelves - sure you may not be able to hang them from the walls, but free-standing shelves are cheap and effective. For example: Home Vida 5 Tier Large DIY Shelf | Wilko is £35. We have a very similar one (could even be that exact one - cant remember), and does the job just fine. (edited)

Opted to go for their installation service paying an additional £299, hoping that this will be hassle free, not sure.

I bought a ketter shed a few years ago from Costco (different model) - assembled it with the help of a few friends over the course of 2 evenings. The instructions are pretty good - although I did miss out a piece (a metal strengthening crossbeam above the door) cause the light was fading. Not a vital enough piece to deconstruct the whole roof and refit. Hopefully an installation service would avoid that. Other than that it all went well enough - no harder to build than ikea furniture!

Do make sure you have a perfectly level base to install it on, as the installation service will not do that. (poured concrete is best). We did pay someone to do that before the shed arrived, and that was worthwhile!

Great build quality on these sheds. Much better than wood, metal or cheaper plastic.

May be a dumb question, but can these be insulated?

As with any structure, you can affix PIR boards to the inside.

The inside would need a breathable membrane to help keep the drafts out.

It wouldn’t make a good gym or home office, if that’s what you are thinking.

What’s the difference between the Keter Cortina and the Keter Artisan ?

One you can fit a car in the other you can bake bread in.

2 6by 6 might be a better bet as less wasted corridor space

Do like these.. But problem is everything will end up on the floor.

What kind of shelves could you use
    newbie68's avatar
Yep, other than stand alone shelves this is the difficulty with non wooden sheds. I've always built wooden (3 in my lifetime) as with good materials and maintenance they last almost 20 years. I love that you can shelve them out to your needs. I tend to fit 2 sets of shelving (lower and higher) around the 3 walls (back and sides) and I love that you can install all sorts of hooks/nails and screws tot he roof beams to hang/store stuff. Nothing in plastic/metal etc will allow you this flexibility. Wood really does allow you to maximise and organise every square inch

This is the perfect size for me in terms of a place I have to fill. But it looks kind of small in the photo, and is now worrying me that my hopes and dreams on something like an 8x7ft shed will be too small. I plan to go in at the end with a self-build.

    How are these for size?

I am looking for that bloody 6x8 keter that is on sale at Argos but it is out of stock. And where is stock it is ridiculously expensive.
    placid's avatar
i've been looking for that too, please let me know if you find it although i'm not holding out much hope! astronomical everywhere else.

the boxes these came in (i had the 7ft x 7ft) were humengous and they dropped them at a front of a terraced house, luckily i had my godsend aldi dolly trolly to help me as i was on my own, each box weighed about 76kg and at least 2m x 1.4m in size, wheeled the boxes to back garden about a 200m trip and installed myself, like someone said earlier. i forgot the strengthening bar above the door, so disassembled and installed. my mate also got a shed delivered, went up to help him and it flew up

Better than this one for the size and price?
  20. Ammar_Hassan's avatar
Anyone tried to make them a home office? I m looking to have home office but can’t spend 10k in bespoke home offices
    2la's avatar
Don't think a plastic-ish shed without window will make a good office. You would be boiling in Summer and freezing in Winter.

I bought the Artisan last year.
Been waiting for this Keter new deal.

Just had the shed delivered today and await installation, does anyone know if the installation company will carry the two heavy packs from my garage to the garden area, only about 15 meter distance.
  23. 2la's avatar
Damn I missed this one, no chance of getting anymore anywhere for that price.
