    I use one for head shaving. Takes a bit practice getting the technique and learning the lumps and bumps of your head shape but there's nothing quite like the feel of safety razor smooth (like butter!) Patience is key ! 🏻 (edited)

    Great razor been using one for three years. No butterfly mechanism to go faulty. Just a flat bar and a screw thread.

    After some practice it’s ok. Just take your time and don’t apply too much pressure. Personally couldn’t go back to cartridge razors now.

    Much, much cheaper in the long run than cartridges, less razor burn once you have sussed your technique, takes a little longer but the results are much better, closer and last longer, especially good if you have sensitive skin, I would suggest investing in some alum/nick sticks, good soap and brush and aftershave balm.

    It’s different than cartridges where you aggressively drag the razor over your face, go with the grain and let the weight and angle do the work, accessories are subjective and I doubt many DE enthusiasts agree on a single setup and it can become a bit of an obsession perfecting your gear almost to audiophile levels of cult.
