Quite like these beans, but tried a Swiss blend of coffee bean called Movenpick (100% arabica) which can be picked up on eBay for around the same price, and they make delicious coffee!

    Will give it a go!

For those who have a Costco card these should be back on offer anytime soon, and they are usually around £8.00 when they are.

I hope so, they haven't had beans on offer for at least 4 months.

I would recommend Cafe Hormozi on eBay. They roast to order and you can get a kilo for £11.50 delivered or £14.50 for 100% Arabica

If you enjoy coffee I recommend spending a bit more and buying freshly roasted beans. For about £20 you can get a kilo single origin from Horsham coffee roasters

Agree on the freshly roasted aspect! It makes a huge difference, but it is obviously quite a bit more expensive.

What about for lattes? What's a good bean for a delonghi automatic style one

These are good for any type of coffee

Thanks. Good price and I've found these 1kg bags of beans stay fresh for weeks if you use a clip to seal them shut.

These are our weekday go to beans 👌 (edited)

Me too I try others but always have these in stock

Reasonable beans, nothing fancy. Their 100% Arabica Oro gold is nicer, this is fairly mild/bland tasting. Main problem with these 1kg bags for normal households is that they go stale before being used up. The 250g bags on sale are a better bet.

Split up into smaller bags and freeze till needed.

It offered me an additional 5% so was about £9.30

These beans are o-k-a-y but there are much better beans out there. You’re paying for the brand name here…

I really think these are the most over rated beans ever. I never have understood why people like them so much. Some magic works going on in their branding and marketing department. The Amazon own brand coffee beans are much better quality, taste and a lower price usually.

    Heat. Love these. Thanks

I like this one, I only use for double espresso but I like the taste

    £8.95 - decent

I tend to buy these when on offer. My local Sainsburys have had these for £12 recently.

Worth having a bag in the cupboard for emergencies...

    Ordered, it's a nice coffee

What's the regular price for this ?

Anyone recommend a well regarded bean grinder? I use one of those spice / coffee grinders with the spinning blade but often hear the way they are ground makes a difference so usually try and buy pre ground.
    markgh's avatar
Difficult to recommend one really because you can spend anything between £20 and £20,000 on a coffee grinder.

The thing you're looking for is a burr grinder. Any budget burr grinder will be better than a blade one or preground.

£9.50 - Cheers! I've just run out of beans this morning

Nice one, OP. £8.95 with 15% S&S + extra 5% for 'first' S&S delivery (I've ordered these for years but regularly cancel to get these extra discounts) but I just don't need any more beans at the moment!

I would avoid Lavazza after their conduct towards Arsenal's Mohamed Elneny.
