    Just based on my previous experience of blind purchasing 100 Nespresso compatible capsules (L’Or Onynx - strength 13) before first trying them to see whether I liked it or not, I wouldn’t recommend doing so to anyone else. Try first if possible otherwise you’ll have loads of capsules on your hands that aren’t getting used. (edited)

    Lavazza is considered one of the leading coffee brands (if not the best) in Italy, but it also depends on each one's taste as you said.

    Compatibility was fine on the Lavazza Rosso capsules I bought but not so great on the L’Or capsules I bought recently which has seen a few spoiled capsules as a result

    Tried the Rosso ones a while back and gave most of them away. Very weak and disappointing. L'or Ristretto, Supremo and Ultimo are consistently good. Tried Illy recently and not impressed and they are supposedly a top brand.
