    The supermarkets ought to have a limit on this really. They sometimes do with other products so why not Lego? Say x4 of the same set only in one transaction. Yes, some people will try to game the system by using friends or walking round again and using a different checkout. 
    But at least they would be saying “please don’t empty shelves in one go” it may not be illegal but it’s poor form and not be be encouraged.

    Seems to be nationwide, shelves cleared in Solihull Tesco. Saw guy walking away with 12x boba fetts in his trolly, clearly didnt want leave any for anyone else.....

    That’s so uncool. At least leave a few. Take four or five if you want but if taking 12 is just mean.

    Batley has been cleared out too but not by me.
    My friend works there and took a picture for me 5 minutes ago - all gone.
    I got him to get me ONE Boba Fett this morning and ONE space ride but since then the shelves look like they've been attacked by wolves. (edited)

    My friend who works at Tescos has just witnessed a man take 12 Lego City sets and several creator ones. No chance of anything left when I get out of work which is so annoying as I live a minutes walk away from the store (edited)
