I'm 40 with no kids as an excuse and I've bought loads of Lego in the last couple of years. So I wouldn't worry about it.

The Falcon is the biggest set and most iconic but I do love the shuttle. I picked mine up (almost) brand new on eBay for £35 delivered. No minifigures but that's ok. Buy both

What stopped me buying is nearly hundred quid for moulded plastic. I wish I was kid with minted parents.

Buy it, have fun and then make money. Lego, especially Star Wars, goes up in value over time.
