11th gen Intel is not the most power efficient for laptops either.

That is correct but ChromeOS will run on it 2x longer than Windows. (edited)

IIRC, on these models, the RAM is soldered, but it's a proper M.2 SSD rather than eMMC.

Generally Chromebooks are not worth it as for a little more money, you can often get a fully fledged much higher spec laptop.

fully fledged laptop? You've just described a Chromebook as much as any other laptop.

Ticks all the boxes from me. Hot.

Cherry on the cake would be an OLED screen of course. (edited)

Starting to think there's no good laptop whatsoever according to all the comments on laptop deals!

its from folk who have no idea what a chromebook is, and just how rapid they are.

I have the older 10thGen i5 version of this and for this money this is a smokin hot deal for a great Chromebook. If you know what a Chromebook is and how good they are for general, casual use then you wont go far wrong with this one. The only downside with mine is the tinny, crap speakers but it looks like they may have upgraded these on this version.

Hi. Do you know if it would be alright for editing stuff? I sometimes make short films.
