I'd recommend buying it without the OS, (you save £90). Windows 11 is easily installed via a USB stick costing £10 for an activation key.

Heads up to those that buy without OS and getting there own key. Have a usb mouse handy as trackpad won't work straight away during install and the WiFi won't work during setup in windows 11 so you'll have to install drivers yourself in command prompt during setup.

There is guides online on how to do this that say press shift and F10 however on these you need to press shift, fn and F10 to access command prompt to install the driver. Remember to extract it first on your flash drive and execute the batch file on command prompt.

Got one of these in the bank holiday deal and it is a nice laptop so far love the blue I got it in. (edited)

This was cheaper for non-students about 1-2 weeks ago and could have the 1TB SSD and improved WiFi 6E added at no extra charge.

You can add 1TB SSD and Wifi 6E over here at extra cost here too.

Also, its + £10 quid for backlit keyboard if people prefer

Blistering fast 13gen processor, scores 19,500 on Passmark Bench speed tests, compare with Lenovo ideapad 3 which uses AMD Ryzen5 scores at 15,075.
I'll get a second user one in a couple of years time, when students will be selling these to pay off their student loans

Great cpu when plugged in via charger but the igpu (UHD Graphics Xe G4 48EUs) isnt anything great and the 45w tdp of the processor would chug the battery life when unplugged. (edited)

    Crazy specs for the money.

    Decent gpu as well.

Always get a back-lit keyboard or RGB, everybody knows it makes it faster.

It's been quite a bit cheaper before for everyone (not just students) and the integrated GPU is actually a step-back from 11th and 12th gen as it's lost a load of EUs on this particular version for some reason.

For non students, lenovo are handing out 10% vouchers non stop and the student discount is 10% iirc so you’ll be able to get this for a similar price . I found a pop up kept coming up on their site, or if you sign up add to basket and leave they keep emailing you them.

I got it for £415 a couple of weeks ago but this is still the best value i5 laptop on the site I’ve seen since

Hi, could someone share the recovery partition with us, those who didn't pay for Windows 11 ?
It would be a lot easier to install it and restore also.
    Thanks

Any issues/build quality problems with this laptop?

Some mentioned hinges, others say screen bleed?

One said it gets stupidly hot?
