For anyone wondering, this is a Zen 3 part, not Zen 4 (not Op's fault, AMD's obfuscating naming) and as such the graphics are 6 Vega units not RDNA 2.

I have a Dell from a couple of years back with a 4500U (Zen 2, 6 core 6 thread) and Vega 6 in it and it was surprisingly capable. It runs photoshop, and I was able to play games like Snowrunner at 720p, Apex Legends at 720 or 900p.

Mine cost about £500 in Jan 2021, so to see a full laptop with better screen, 16GB for £384, this is a solid entry laptop. 256GB is a little small these days, but I dare say it might be replaceable

Yes the Vega is very capable. My son has a 2019 Lenovo with a 3500U CPU. It can happily play Fortnite at 1080p at 60fps with low settings

    A 16GB option would've made it great...

    Loved you in fifth element.

I changed it to include 16gb ram just to make it different from other deals on here actually. At £384 with better processor I think it's a good deal

Need to change processor to 7530u first

USB-C supports data transfer only, no PD

    Great deal, thanks.
What’s the cheapest way to get a legitimate windows key? Want something legal so no piracy please (edited)
    Nujol's avatar
Piracy is an odd word to use… takes me back to pre-internet days where you’d get a copied disk from someone for the Amiga.

There are legitimate Windows keys sold for under £10. They are not ‘pirated’ in any way. There are not multiple copies of the same key going to different people.

However they are most likely bought in huge bulk orders from MS on the premise they will be used on OEM devices and not sold on individually.

So there is no illegality in terms of theft of the software (piracy), the only question mark is whether the seller is breaching the terms of their purchase of the keys from MS.

The fact is that such sales have gone on for so long (basically decades) that there really isn’t an issue with such a key.

£10 for a FHD camera is probably worth adding as well

Such a shame that Lenovo doesn't offer backlit keyboard on their 16" and 17.3" laptops.

Not on ones this cheap unfortunately

Be careful on the SSD upgrade later - takes a 2242 nvme which are not as widespread as the normal 2280 ones.

    StorageUp to 1TB M.2 2242 SSD

It looks it _may_ take a 2280 SSD from this teardown video, there's an extra mounting post where you'd expect it to be though it'd be very tight to the fan:
