surely the legion 5 at £699 or £705(with code) on their ebay store is worth the extra over the budget ideapad gaming? has bigger battery 60wh vs 80wh, thunderbolt 4, hdmi 2.0 vs 2.1, 90w mobile graphics card vs 130w, gen4 ssd etc etc

These are intel 11400H, instead of amd 5600H as in listing which is about 10% faster FWIW 😁

8gb of ram not worth it

I grabbed this in the £465 deal and upgraded the RAM to 16gb for an extra £30, absolute steal and this is still an excellent price.

How do u get these 465 deals? Do they just appear randomly on ebay?

Currently using this laptop and its great. I added 8gb of ram and use it daily for gaming and its been pretty much perfect. I did get this a year and a bit ago for £465 though.

How did you get it for that price?

    Is the screen really bad?
    plewis00's avatar
No, it's just a very average gaming panel (120Hz, 45% NTSC - colour a bit dull and not that bright), but it's still very usable.

Just fyi, I paid £560 last year for a brand new looking referb Lenovo Legion 5 with 5600h and rx6600m which is a better model than the Ideapad Gaming. Better cooling better screen better chassis etc. If you are ok with referbs your can save some cash, when I got mine it still had 10 months Lenovo warranty and 12 months from the retailer. (edited)
