Just been looking at some of the reviews of this on Amazon and they are stupid. This is a total bargain for the price and it really doesn't matter than this isn't a Chromebook Plus. If we were talking a pricepoint of £400, then it might be an issue. For those looking at another deal which has the i5, there shouldn't be too much difference between the Pentium Gold 7505, this i3 and the i5 as all 3 are really quick in Chrome OS. Obviosuly the i5 will be quicker but at the expense of battery life.

    Hot from me. (edited)

Anything locked down on these to stop you just loading windows on this?

Everything is locked down to stop you loading Windows, that's the whole point of Chromebooks. To load Windows, it involves taking the laptop apart and removing a screw. Being so hard to flash also really helps with security.
