If you think the Royal Mail is in tatters don't look at the Chinese sorting centres!

To be fair I've never had an issue with deliveries from China. They take a while but you know that from the starts and sometimes they arrive before an item sent from the UK 🤦‍♂️

They are a waste of time for calls. Good for podcasts and Spotify

Arrived today…. Can say from the packaging it’s 100% fake and no way close to Lenovo quality. Earbuds as such is ok, just like any other Chinese TWS fakes. Thanks to wish, I have tried Bose, Sony & Jabra fakes too. This is of the same quality as them.

What's Lenovo quality? All of their earbuds are trash. The only thing that's Lenovo about their earbuds is the logo that some factory in China screen prints on them

I've had a couple of these. The connection is pritty unreliable in my opinion. Good enough sound though to be fair...
    amour3k's avatar
How'd you mean?, you mean as in dropped sound connection's when you were in phone call's to people, etc?

    Or ...

    Thanx.

You may want to read some of the 1 star reviews that have been left before buying. Plenty of people saying they are fakes.
    regancipher's avatar
No idea why people think they are fakes. Perhaps they expect better from a name they know - the reality is these are manufactured FOR Lenovo, not by them
  11. Meanmum's avatar
Just received these and they appear to be very different and lower quality compared to the supposedly same model I already have. I suspect these are fakes. Oh well, lesson learnt.

Bought something off AliExpress and you're surprised it's fake
  12. matt.duncan's avatar
Mine just arrived. They work, which is pretty amazing in itself given the price.

The sound is pretty poor but not the worst I have ever heard, not great for music but fine for podcasts. All in all happy with these for a fiver.
  13. m4rts's avatar
How do either of these compare to the Anker Life P2i?
    regancipher's avatar
The Anker are quite a bit better
  14. richb93's avatar
Wow, pretty shocking to see a name brand rip-off AirPods so blatantly.
    chocl801's avatar
You do know that 'airpods' are also made in China 😏
  15. MoneyEyes's avatar
I bought a few of these when they were under a fiver each, I'm using a set and I must say for the money you really can't grumble.
It's a nice sound and perfect for what I need
    amour3k's avatar
Which of the OP's 2, did you buy at the time?

And how much was it at the time also?

    Thanx.

Can't believe people are still ordering these Bluetooth earbuds. The amount of EMF radiation straight in your brain doesn't bother anybody here?

Ordered, plus I love the anticipation. (edited)
  21. regancipher's avatar
Not fake - no idea why people think they are. They aren't manufactured by Lenovo, they're made by Jing Zan Enterprise Co in Taiwan. There's no development in chipset (they use Jieli off the shelf components). Lenovo slap their badge on it, and can afford to sell them at this price because of their mammoth buying power, but they are what they are - low quality products for Lenovo to saturate the market because they know there is little point in them trying to compete with the likes of Apple, Samsung and Sony or even Soundpeats, QCY and Soundcore in the lower-mid-tier (edited)
    CartoonHead78's avatar
Just a quick look and Pictures of product from multiple buyers all have the same serial number! Can u explain?
  22. nadiala's avatar
Just to let you guys know, ALL OF THESE CHEAP LENOVO HEADPHONES ARE FAKE, they are ripping off Lenovo and Apple in the same headphones lol.

I mean - they will work, but the quality will be iffy. Occasional/ or regular loss of connection (depending on your luck), quality of sound ok-ish if you don’t know too much about quality sound or compare quality and these fakes side by side with more expensive product.
They are ok if you are looking for headphones you don’t give a about, but they are quality-wise. (As a sound rec-mix-engineer I can hear that they are bad, my brother purchased them for £1.99 on TikTok, and had occasional connection issues and battery that was very so-so)

So, NO - those are not genuine Lenovo headphones.

And re - tax for ordering from China, you will pay tax straight on AliExpress. It will add it when you go to check out.
    thisismyalias's avatar
I have these and they’re certified Lenovo (I checked with them) - sounds like he got a dodgy pair as mine are from TikTok too. Only thing is the microphone quality is poor.
  23. fraz699's avatar
    I bought these last month
    They are worse
Bad sound, 0 bass, poor ear fit, next to none outside sound filtering
All and all looks like fake Lenovo
Bluetooth search also shows chinese make rather than Lenovo
    regancipher's avatar
They are made by Jing Zan Enterprise Co in Thailand using a Chinese chipset (Jieli) for Lenovo, who ironically are Chinese.

Lenovo make half decent Chinese phones, but their earbuds are OEM garbage
  24. AppleJack85's avatar
Oh I've just ordered and got them for £1.71. don't know how. They have now gone back to original price.

I'm not hung up on brands, Lenovo earbuds didn't mean anything to me, all i needed to know was bluetooth earbuds for a fiver. Bought 2 different models for a fiver each, arrived yesterday about 10 days since ordered. Were partially charged at 75%, another 30 mins saw them to full charge.

Have had a pair connected tp phone and laptop for about 6 hours now and still going strong. Great sound for me nice loud and crisp. Don't need them for calls etc just music and youtube vids. No branding on the pieces themselves but on the charging box (with led battery status - quite cool_- and as far as i'm concerned it could say doggy doggy or sunshine flower makes no diffrence. Best £5 x 2 spent from here.
  26. crazycritic's avatar
Of course they are fake, but at £5.80 it’s still a good deal.
  27. Simona90's avatar
I use these when I am gardening. Sound pretty good and keep their connection. Happy.

Took my order for uk, came out at £5.50 charged in usa dollars i think . Has good review techxreviews.com/len…ew/

  29. Ross81's avatar
I got the LP80s on Tiktok shop for 99p months ago. They are well worth it, great for work teams calls and casual use.
  30. G_sus's avatar
Are these actually Lenovo, or has someone just slapped branding in it?

I would be tempted by these, but I can not see them being all that good for the price...
    Lemonz's avatar
They look just like a pair my partner got from a local company's event day who slapped their branding on. The price definitely suggests it too.

Can't complain for the money if you just want something that does the essentials though (edited)
  31. pm1983's avatar
LP40’s work out at £5.69 for me after VAT. Can’t argue with that. I just wanted a spare pair to have in the house for listening to audible, so didn’t need anything amazing. Thanks!
  32. alan2simms's avatar
i have both they are obviously OK for the price cant complain, one is just base and nothing else (LP40) the other mostly treble no good to use as a microphone , if you can go for redmi airdots 3 i purchased from aliexpress good sound quality , but not very well made very plasticky but sit on the ears well and can use with the phone as a microphone much better sound quality all around and fair noise cancelling got it for under £10 in november , i think i got it in 11 days total
    chocl801's avatar
"...but not very well made very plasticky..."

    New user discount?
  34. ARAI19's avatar
I got these back in January, not impressed with these but probably okay at the price. Quality is okay but you can get better maybe a little bit more if you look around. Also like another seller said they may not be genuine. The case is not durable and already showing signs of use without much use, the back of the earphone comes off easily but i managed to pop it back on and the button on the earphone is so fiddly that the slightest of adjustment to the earphone will mean you paused your song or went to the next one especially if you are running.
  35. regancipher's avatar
To those who think they're fake because they have this idea of Lenovo as a mid tier quality brand because of their laptops and Moto mobile phones.....none of their earbuds have ever been decent quality even for budget buds. They're miles behind the likes of QCY, Soundcore, Soundpeats etc.

You can buy these from the Lenovo accredited store for about £12.30 so up to you if you want to risk a supposed fake that's around 80p cheaper. Better still, avoid Lenovo earbuds altogether and stop being blinded by brand bias. (edited)
  36. Joe_Biden's avatar
my order total came £1.67 after a discount ? ordered anyway

New user to AliExpress? There's some great new user discounts to tempt you in!

Bought a pair of the LP40s out of curiosity. The sound isn't great for music, but fine for podcasts or audiobooks.

They are quite large though and fall out of my ear often, which isn't just because I have small ears, and this can be annoying.
