sorted byWell theres pretty much no stopping the ambient signals.. you are best not sleeping directly next to wifi emitters though.
Why /how? TIA
I bough both of them last year... placed side by side... and returned the screen version...
1. The volumn on the screen version was quide low even both were on the same sound volume setting (or may be I got the bad one )
2. The screen was too small, and barely visible if the night from a distance (even in a slight dark room in the day) - I got the google hub
3. The essential version sounded much better
4. Temperature and time is clearly visible, also adjustment to ambient light works well.
Sometime the night mode doesn't activate. So you have to open the Google home app. Turn night mode on on and off and it does the job. That's the only issue I've had with mine. Other than that, it's perfect.
OK goggle set screen brightness to 10 percent
I have it set to minimum and can say turn off nightlight if it's still bugging me - been pretty good!
Doesn't work for me. It ends up doing the brightness for the light on the back of the clock
I need to say this exact phrase, else it won't work
How do you activate night mode in the GH app? Mine just has the same settings as a regular Nest mini speaker.
Do you mean devices with Bluetooth/WiFi or the signals?
The dimmiing on the regular model is a ton better but the quick access to teh alarms is great especially for use in a room where people are less willinig to shout at a box or swipe screens are likey to stay
Why? Genuinely curious.
Having a device emitting polarised electromagnetic frequencies near your brain all night is just not healthy.
Life is short though.. if you really want a wifi clock, go for it. Its one of these things.. like using a microwave to heat our food or drinking coca cola. Smoking.. etc
Sleeping is a time for rest and recovery.. be good to your body at night. It will get hammered with abuse during the day.
When you click on the device. Settings cog top right corner > Notifications and digital wellbeing > night mode
Got it. I was thinking there was going to be Lenovo specific settings like the night light in there but this works for the screen . Thanks
