I wouldn't buy another LG fridge freezer if you'd pay me.

We got brand new for £1200, around year old freezer started melting, numerous calls to LG and and being fobbed off by engineering company until 2 years old finally repair date came, after 3/4 visits and as many cancelled appointments. Next day after repair whole unit failed. Yay. Week for another appointment to confirm its dead another week to get LG to accept its dead.
Any contact with LG takes a week to get reply and calling them is useless as its with dedicated team that is unreachable by phone wohoo!
Now waiting to get this shit taken away and arrange refund, apparently another 28 days... Started this cycle of repairs in February!!!
Go read LG reviews on trustpilot.

Wish these retails would make it easier to compare different models. Found it nightmare and in the end gave up.

I've just bitten on an outlet one LG GSLV70MCTF. It's £1500 on LGs website. £610 delivered.
1 dent on the door and a few down the side. Fine by me as it sits between 2 units and Mrs n kids cover it with crap and magnets anyway.

Worth having a look at the AO, Hughes, Marks fleebay stores.

Comes with 1 year instead of 2 but the compressor is 10years same as buying new.

    Hope it helps

I do wish that the retailers would make it easy to find the energy efficiency rating. I am looking for a high efficiency American fridge freezer because our old Hyundai one is about the most power hungry device in our home.

They are certainly getting more energy efficient so hopefully a good improvement over the next few years on the Hyundai.

The energy rating is in the top part of the screen in colour under the ‘add to basked button’ is on my phone?

In ‘specifications’ section, for Energy Consumption (kWh/Year) it says 350. I think that’s not bad for a massive fridge freezer (edited)
