Had one of these for 4 years for my living room htpc. Solid kit and batts last ages. IT professional 8/10. Loses 2* due to backlight and wireless only. Up dn keys being half size is a bit annoying.
But chassis is light and solid. Keys have a good weight/actuation. The lmb on a button is great for 2 handed mouse use. Runs on the new unified reciever which has great range, mines behind the PC in an AV rack and hasn't missed a beat at 2m away.

When this dies, I'll literally buy the same one again. Unless theyres a backlit version. I also have a wireless 10 keyless mech backit that cost 5x this. If I had the choice of only one. I'd choose this (edited)

Good price got it few weeks ago at full price tho not a very good keyboard in my opinion because yellow mouse button on the top left side is not great and needs pressed hard to work right and can be very annoying

Only issue I have with this is the range is tiny, unless you can maintain direct line of sight between receiver and KB. After literally just a few metres, if there's something blocking the LOS, you start getting the odd missed keystroke etc, which for me is super annoying. Had 2 of these, both the same issue, tested in multiple areas of house too so not likely interference. As long as you're really close you should be ok.

Yes, it's a real pain whenever I take my keyboard to the toilet.

    YES YOU GOSH DANG LEGEND!

Not the cheapest they've ever been (I miss the £15 ones) but daaaaaaaaamn, these peaked at £42+ on Amazon recently and at time of writing, are still £30 there. CCL have them on sale at £30, Ebuyer £37.

Smoking hot! 2 on order, ty ty!

Yeah I’m always waiting for them to go £15 again!

Bought one in 2015 in a lightning deal for £15.99, given that we have hyperinflation now, this is probably cheaper 🔥🔥🔥

Have this. Don't rate it. Everything is too small and therefore keys are too close together, so don't think it's practical for typing long drafts. Good for portability I guess but not sure what purpose that would serve.

I have two on different PCs. One for 3 years, other for 1 year.
Very useful with a lounge PC for browsing, email and starting games to then play with a controller. Settee type stuff.

On the other PC, at a desk, I plug in a mouse if I'm using CAD or other mouse intensive stuff.

Have the k400 (not plus) its been going for years. Battery seems to last an impossibly long time at least a year at a time. The keys are absolutely horrible to push down and sort of catch if you push them anything but direct centre and the track pad is a slice of turd. If you come in from the kitchen or toilet with damp hands you are done for as well it refuses to track. It started randomly clicking the other day so I opened it up and gave it a clean and its fine again. Its taken so many falls and being stood on and keys falling off and put back on. We use it every single day for the HTPC and its done us very well so can forgive all the flaws. I've even tried gaming with it probably more than I should lol it terrible with 3D games and passable with casual 2D games. Keen to give the plus a go but doubt its any better :D.

I have had a similar experience with my k400 that I bought around 8 years ago for my htpc.

Still works perfectly, after about a hundred drops, many times being sat on, stood on.
I have been lucky that I have had no keys falling off.

    The battery lasts ages.

One of my favourite features is the mouse click button on the left side of the keyboard, it makes using the mouse really comfortable as you do not need to leave the track pad to click.

The only thing I wish it had was the ability to switch between devices. (edited)

Can you move the trackpad when keys are pressed? I have the Microsoft equivalent and you can't on that.

I just checked. Yes you can.

These are excellent, It's always nice to keep an extra with you as they are prone to fall damage

I've introduced these to all my family and the wonders of a PC connected to your TV. Everyone loves it.

Great spot. Bought one of these for £32 on amazon a week ago so it's getting returned for this lower price!

Great keyboard for its use case, only the touchpad could be slightly better I feel like the input lag and its precision leave a little to be desired.
  25. matt7powell's avatar
Well, I've bitten the bullet and given it a go.

I bought it and collected it as soon as I spotted the deal, and now in full use. Thanks OP.

Wow I didn't know these were worth so much, I have literally hundreds of them at work, what sucks is the recievers aren't pairable, if you lose it it's ewaste.

This one's come up a few times. I got one to replace a very similar Microsoft keyboard which wasn't perfect at keeping a connection. But this Logitech is much worse, sent it back. Bad key feel, touchpad is poor too.

Anyone know if they sell the single for this separate? Bought one of these a few months ago but seem to have misplaced it. (edited)

I like mechanical keys. Are these like laptop key????? I like to hammer my keys
  34. Taksim_Red's avatar
I have this and it's terrible for typing on. Keys are too close together and often hit the wrong one.

These wireless keyboard are perfect for android tv boxes or if you've a gaming PC hooked up to your TV. Thought it's cheap and cheerful plastic I've had mine a few years now and no issues. Range isn't the best but so long as the receiver is in visual range to the keyboard then there's no issues. Not worth more than £20 due to the cheap build quality IMO. Also no backlighting to the keys but on the flipside the batteries last for several months at a time.

This had been priced at £35 for a while so for £20 its a very good deal!! Good find Op

I currently have the K830 and its only just started to act up and needs fixing/parts needs changing.
but I'm after want something chargeable and not battery powered !

If anyone can direct me to a good keyboard that's the same size as the K830, Bluetooth, with some extra features and touch pad I would be very grateful, especially when sitting back on a sofa using my PC just makes life so much easier.
  37. Darkeru's avatar
I've got this. I don't enjoy typing on it and the connectivity isn't amazing at distance, but it's good to use as a control for a media center.
