Search for the same flights on another agency (or preferably direct with the airline) - don’t risk using TravelUp - any problems, cancellations, schedule changes and you’re absolutely stuffed. Wouldn’t book with them even if the flights were free!

You can book directly with Lufthansa for a little bit more

Excuse my ignorance but what is in Chennai ?

It is part of Sri Lanka. Flights are more reasonable than flying direct to capital.

Do you need a visa to visit India and is it easy to source?

The website for attaining one is rather comically retro too.

Does anyone know if it's mandatory to have transit visa if you are changing flights in Germany (for Indian citizens). Apparently this is a new rule since Brexit. But no one can confirm.
