sorted byI have purchased their SIM and ported my number in and they completely cocked it up!
Now my mobile number has been disconnected from the old network (Smarty) but it has not come through to Lyca, it is hanging somewhere in the vain.
I can`t get Smarty to do anything as the number has left their network and Lyca CS is an absolute shambles!
20 calls for 10 mins each, 20 emails - nothing!
They either do not understand English or have no clue.
I have lost my long running number now.
You have been warned !
Good luck! (edited)
Hopefully you can get your number back.!
I'm sure I've read on the forum about others having the same thing happen. So I'm not going to trust them again as it's a lot of hassle suddenly being left with a non-functioning phone with no warning and then having to move elsewhere.
I've now decided to use Lyca purely as a one-month purgatory to transfer back and forth with Lebara.
5 days without mobile phone service and it does not look I am back online with my old, long term phone number.
Also couldn't get my PAC my text. Got it from a phone call from them but only after they tried to convince me that I shouldn't leave their service. I think they probably try this with lots of people which is in fact illegal and can be enforcible by large fines now.
