    First time ever I have seen a drop in price for Macallan. Still cannot justify the amount for a 12 year old !!

    Garbage stuff. The people who know about whisky do not buy this. 40%, chill filtered and coloured -its for uneducated whisky people who think by paying the ridiculous price, they are getting a good deal. It's pure marketed rubbish. Avoid.

    I've recently gotten into whisky and I wish I had earlier.

    Macallan is a whisky I see bandied around a lot. What do you consider a good starting point for them so I don't fall into the trap of the likes of this deal? Thanks in advance if you have any advice.

    It is my number one now! Wow! I'm not in to whisky world, I've tried maybe 50 different whiskies so far and this is just outstanding! I love smoked ones but this is really good, need to try triple cask next!
