My son would love this, but having built the Charmander the build is way less fun and the pieces far less tolerant than Lego
I can only imagine the money they'd make if these were Lego

Agreed. The build experience of these non-Lego sets is where they fall down. The quality of the plastics and the manufacturing tolerances are just nowhere near as good as Lego. We got the larger Mega Pikachu at Christmas and it was genuinely tough just sticking the bricks together for an 8 year old.

Got this for a friend and it’s brilliant! The movement is so good. However, they struggled as Mega Blox are literally so painful (on your fingers) to put together.
