Mercusys is to TP-Link as Plusnet is to BT. A very good value AX / WiFi6 mesh system.
Uses a rebrand of the TP-Link Deco app. It might not have the highest end features of the best mesh systems but has a low price for its performance.

The prices of the 2 and 3 node packs do yoyo. It was at this price back in February and last month for a short time.

Based on past Mercusys deals on here, I don't expect this to go hot. Perhaps not enough know about the brand. Hopefully this helps someone thinking about it before the goes up in price again.

Got them few weeks ago as bt discs have been playing up for far too long. This turned up to be much faster than previous lot. Very little to no drop outs, it only allows backhaul over cable tho. Parental controls are bit finicky as to limiting online time - it does not always allow device to reconnect next day, rules need to be deleted etc. At that price no complaints. (edited)

Only backhaul over a cable? Surely it's not a mesh system at that point and it's just wireless access points. Been considering these for my parents so would appreciate if that's 100% the case?
    Reviews seem to suggest not.
    Thanks.

The way I understand this that those units h80x have optional Ethernet backhaul and not dedicated wireless channels. ( nothing in literature supplied with units suggest anything else). One unit can act as router with parental control options rest as access points with seamless transition. You will loose most of interface features if you put main unit in access point mode.
I can now get fast Wi-Fi speeds down a bottom of a garden 30 meters away from house. From barely 10mbps to 220.
My Wi-Fi speeds on virgin 350 connection are around 308-325 mbps

*Please note that the Halo H series and S series cannot work together.

I bought these around 2 weeks ago as an upgrade to my Google Wi-Fi to go with my shiny new 500mb full fibre service. (previously 72mb).

My home office is 1 floor and 3 rooms away from the main router (4 bedroom house) and with all nodes connected to each other wirelessly and my PC plugged into the node in my office via cable I get the full 500mb service on the PC which was my aim.

As previous comments I can also now wander about my garden with no loss of connectivity.

Sprogs are at Uni so no need for parental controls so cant comment.

At £140 for the 3 node package I'm more than happy.

this is a great deal, thinking of upgrading from my tenda mw3 to this, which to be fair to that has also been great.

Hey, can someone clarify if these have a firewall? Buried on the Mercusys website it says it does (SPI), but some spec sheets and other websites don't mention anything. (edited)

Under ip 6 protocol you can add rules in the app. Maybe more available on web interface, need to check it out tbh.
