This is a terrible phone , Motorola admitted the issue with the screen delaminating but it cost more than a new phone for them to repair it

Prob best deleting this as you are talking about the 2020 version

I don't really understand the point of vertically folding phones? Candybar style phones that unfold into tablet shapes I can understand but not this.

I guess its because an iphone max and samsung ultra stick out your pocket 3 inches if you're on the small side and poke you in the liver if you bend down, on a serious note i hate phones over 6.1 inch, but id consider bigger if it folded

Brilliant price! This was over £900 when it was first released!

I got mine brand new on a deal on here for 400 two years ago , this is not a brilliant price , they struggled to sell the esim version as esims were not widely available on uk networks

Much cheaper but nearly as good as a Samsung by all accounts.

    HOT

Except the cameras are superior on Samsung.

A quick one: Do Motorola use stock Android?
On a side note, I remember the og Razr, the classic Hello Moto tone

They do, with a couple of additions, but 99% stock "Hello Moto"

I'm waiting for a good deal for either razr ultra or flip 5. But this looks super tempting.

You bugger, Mr.Switch! I was trying to convince myself I didn’t need a flip phone, and you throw this thing out there! Dammit!

Shame the camera on all these foldables are so bad. Only thing holding me back, don't mind the slightly lower than top tier specs at all nowadays

The Motorola or foldable phones in general, they're pretty mixed but generally other brands have decent cameras. They don't stick on the bleeding edge sensors, but to be honest that's more spec wars than meaningful improvements.

This seems a good price for a 8+ Gen 1 phone generally even? Let alone a foldable...
    Bufferz1's avatar
Definitely- I am looking at replacing my iphone11 with a new android phone and would be looking at least £400-500 for a 8+1 phone slab style
  11. DealTron's avatar
    That's a very good price
  12. Feargal's avatar
Decent price as long you do not mind the lack of wireless charging and dual nano sim slots
  13. Glynevans101's avatar
Arg if I didn't need to get a new laptop I'd be all over this. Seem a really good deal to me! Nice one mate.

Just got mrs the flip 5 ...this is a bargain nonetheless🔥🔥

Good price, same chipset as the new 2023 Flip version
  18. strooptick's avatar
Anyone got theirs dispatched? Ordered on the 1st but still not been dispatched :/
    JKcars's avatar
I ordered mine a few days ago and still waiting for it to be sent too. Have you received yours yet?
  19. papasb's avatar
Just reading about this, is there a persistent issue with the screens? Price is good for a phone of this type if, and this is an if, the screen lasts.
  20. brainsys's avatar
Optimised for the site formerly known as Twitter?
  21. Rabbittus's avatar
Good price for sure but that tiny battery would be a concern for me.
  22. stu83's avatar
Looks good but no wireless charging?
    Mark_Hickman's avatar
Why do you wireless charge, for battery longevity or to prevent port damage ?
Ive never seen any reason to bother with it and get slower charging
  23. Deal_Er's avatar
How is the screen on time on this?
  24. Tyranicus66's avatar
Just bought a Pixel Pro 7, I would have probably considered this given the price difference.

Organised a return of this phone with Motorola who had TNT collect and now it is lost 😪
Collected last Wednesday and still shows collecting when tracked. Not a happy customer
