  • Revolutionary triple-fan thermal
Three fans on a huge heatsink ensures a cool and quiet experience. Core Pipes are precision-crafted to make maximum use of the available space. A squared section of heat pipes fully touch the GPU baseplate to then spread heat along the full length of the heatsink.
  • Hyperrealistic, hyperfast
The Ada architecture unleashes the full glory of ray tracing, which simulates how light behaves in the real world. With the power of RTX 40 series and third gen RT Cores, you can experience incredibly detailed virtual worlds like never before.
  • The performance multiplier, powered by AI
LSS is a revolutionary breakthrough in AI-powered graphics that massively boosts performance. Powered by the fourth-gen Tensor Cores and Optica Flow Accelerator on GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs, DLSS 3 uses AI to create additional high-quality frames.
  • Victory measured in milliseconds
NVIDIA Reflex and GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs deliver the lowest latency and best responsiveness for the ultimate competitive advantage. Built to optimize and measure system latency, Reflex provides faster target acquisition, quicker reaction times, and the best aim precision for competitive games.

Very naughty. Still £400 over the RX7900XTX, which we all know isn't AS good but still...
    xybp9's avatar
the 7900XTX barely trades blows with the 4080 and 3090

when you're the top card, with the fewest chips that pass QC/binning to be a 4090, then you can charge a premium

Solid deal, considering Nvidia halted production for the 40 series to sell their more lucrative £35,000 AI cards this might be the cheapest these will be in a while
    Madmonk600's avatar
That was my excuse for buying a 4090 I didn't need a few months ago. With their projected AI sales growth, I think that their gaming division will become the unwanted step child going forward.

Good price considering but i would rather have a 4070 ti + ps5 for a similar amount.
    jungleboy123's avatar
I am curious as to why you would get a GPU & console? I mean i was trying to eye up a PS5 here when there was the big sale but i asked myself, do i want to pay £400 and subscribe to play PS5 online games and just play a few exclusives. (edited)

I've Cancelled my 7900XTX order, someone else can have it now. I gone for this. No way it will be this price again for a long while. Nvidia booming with profits right now.
    MrKrabs's avatar
Great choice, with dlss and FG this is capable of frame rates with RT on orders of magnitude beyond the XTX. RT is amazing so you'll be glad you switched

Excellent price. 4090's are in their own performance-league. They're literally 30-40% faster than anything else @ 4K+ultra settings. You get 30-40% more performance vs 4080/7900XTX for 30-40% more money.

£1000+ is a lot of money for graphics, however this is a halo-product. Lot of people spend similar sums on a smartphone every 2-3 years.
    zomgwtfbbq's avatar
It's not even close to what you claim -- it's around 20%-25% faster on average for around 60%-100% more money vs 7900XTX. But it is a very good card for AI workloads and is much better than the cut down lower end models from Nvidia due to the 24GB VRAM and is worth the money for that use case. For gaming alone, it's not worth it.
  6. jungleboy123's avatar
Just wondering would the ASUS TUF model be a better buy? I've avoided the ventus model but at this price point cant really say no.
    Orville's avatar
All 4090's are good. Even the OEM versions have overkill coolers, so run cool and quiet. The real-world difference between best and worst will be just 1-2% in performance.
  7. HeyPablo's avatar
Price to performance, the 4090 is the best value in the 40 series (if you have need of 4k based on your monitor).

No 50 series for gaming until 2025, so this card will be top spec for some time.
    xybp9's avatar
    according to rumours anyway

they said 40 series would also arrive delayed... well the announcement game on time it was just paper launch as it was impossible to get one for months except at scalper pricing
  8. jungleboy123's avatar
Typical company like VERY... made an account just for this, paid in full and now order isn't processing, but monies been taken.

I get so excited for things like this and then disappointed. My 7900xtx was bagged and ready to go, then i cancelled it for this... Both 7900xtx and this deal are now OOS.

I am a grumpy old sod again now.

Anyone else had the same or did your order go through? (edited)

Was similar for me - first time Very user, created account and ordered - nothing happened until 5:30pm when their staff rung to clear and confirm security details, then everything has started to move.
Surprisingly, still no email to welcome new customer, but the order is progressing now.
  9. BluesFanUK's avatar
    Still £500 too expensive.
  10. Serban_Zahari's avatar
Guys pls don't buy these unless you have disposable income, it's ridiculous. If you can't run your games at 100 fps 1440p rez, then its the games fault if you have say a 1080ti or 3060 and decent cpu imo
    HeyPablo's avatar
Definitely a nice to have, but great for 4k/120fps for anyone rocking an LG OLED CX/C1/C2/C3, etc.

All things considered it’s a good deal for those enthusiast enough.
4090 is the true flagship gpu nothing else even comes close literally.

I just don’t enjoy gaming that much to fork out £1300 for a graphics card.
but if it reaches the £1000 mark I’ll be very, very tempted.
for now I’m happy with my 3080. (edited)

At this point the 5000 series should be just over a year away, I wouldn't personally bother upgrading but it is indeed a good deal for those that want to. (edited)

I have a 4090 in a cupboard, I should probably sell it before it drops in price. I dunno why I'm not using it, I'm using an old AMD 6600 instead lol. The 4090 though is the first card in a long time that has come out and been a generation ahead of everything. Very few cards I can think of that did this, the ATI 9700 Pro in 2002 is one of them, maybe the Voodoo 2. (edited)
    jungleboy123's avatar
And if you're not careful the AI boom could mean Nvidia stops making this stuff for us Gamers and only businesses. I'm taking the risk getting 4090 as an investment and futuer proofing incase we get Crypto/AI Craze V2.

Works on a number of 4080 models too. Just got a Gigabyte 4080 OC for around £1030. Great find. Thanks
    Fergout's avatar
Saw that. Just thinking about ordering the MSi X Trio

Excellent card for local unrestricted stablediffusion, roop etc

    That is good

Great price. A lot less than I paid for my version. HEAT
  17. sion22's avatar
can you stack it with the normal credit discount very normally offer? i think is 10 or 20%
    Fixitbob's avatar
    Nope, you can't stack codes
  18. xybp9's avatar
No water block for the Ventus 4090

that's why I went for the Gigabyte 4090 for a few quid more in the last sale (1343 after 20 off voucher)
  19. chapchap's avatar
Too little money vs too many outgoings but still…less than 110 quid for a month. I’ll be set up for a few years too and I’m a 4K gamer.
  20. Halfmad's avatar
4090s maybe a "deal" if you have the cash. I'm not seeing the 4080s are particularly good value though as the discount is smaller but they started at a comparibly high level. There are 4080s for around 1050 day in, day out at the moment, occassionally under 1K too.

It comes down to whether you can find your particular model you want at that price.
    xybp9's avatar
4080 is really cut down this gen vs 4090

not really worth buying imho and NVidia positioned it like that so we'd all buy the 4090

it's basically a monopoly though - what are we gonna do just not buy anything and game with a pack of cards like the animals?

If these cards had 4090 variants without that disastrous flammable 12VHPWR connector and with the latest Displayports, I would've been seriously tempted. At this point, it's too little too late and no game is worth me spending this much on a GPU.

This is a good deal for those looking for this card specifically, though. (edited)
